Every touch has its price

Layla Shaw is trying to pick up the pieces of her shattered life—no easy task for a seventeen-year-old who’s pretty sure things can’t get worse. Her impossibly gorgeous best friend, Zayne, is forever off-limits thanks to the mysterious powers of her soul-stealing kiss. The Warden clan that has always protected her is suddenly keeping dangerous secrets. And she can barely think about Roth, the wickedly hot demon prince who understood her in ways no one else could.
But sometimes rock bottom is only the beginning. Because suddenly Layla’s powers begin to evolve, and she’s offered a tantalizing taste of what has always been forbidden. Then, when she least expects it, Roth returns, bringing news that could change her world forever. She’s finally getting what she always wanted, but with hell literally breaking loose and the body count adding up, the price may be higher than Layla is willing to pay…

Stone Cold Touch carries on from White Hot Kiss with Layla trying to come to terms with how different she is from her family and her life without Roth. WHY?!
Layla becomes depressed, she misses Roth and worries constantly about his state in hell while Zayne tries his best to console her. BUT Roth is back! YESSSSS, and with that arrival it’s brings all kinds of feels and drama which he is famous for and at the most inappropriate of times! ;)

Zayne spends more time with Layla and finally admits how he feels... Enter the dangerous love triangle. For those who hate love triangles, this one was sort of necessary as JLA allowed the reader to decide who Layla would end up with. So as we were treated with lots of gorgeous moments of Roth in White Hot Kiss, Stone Cold Touch focused more on Zayne. Roth lovers fear not, you still get some hot scenes with the Crown Prince of Hell!

This is JLA hottest series yet and my god I fell for it hook, line and sinker. Yes it’s cheesy in parts but you eat it all up in its goodness with a racing heart. This isn’t your typical love triangle because Layla obviously can’t touch one of them and there is no frontrunner like Aiden in the Covenant Series. In White Hot Kiss it was all about Roth obviously and I hoped it would stay that way but this is Zayne’s book and dammit he’s so sweet and kind argh

So am sure you all know that the voting is over but you guys better have voted for Roth! Seriously he’s just the perfect bad/good boy and he’s clearly the better match for Layla andddd he was there for her when Zayne wasn’t. Plus Roth just makes the book so much more entertaining with his snark!

I’m so excited for the final book and to find out who she finally ends up. JLA writing really did have a way of making me love Zayne even though I hate him! This series is my favourite of her work, it really brings out such strong emotions and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it a second time.

The writing is gorgeous, the characters are epic and the romance is to die for. So if you haven’t heard of this series seriously you need to read it now plus it’s HAWWWWT. The blurb says 'wickedly hot demon prince' and trust me that's exactly what you get <3

“I want you so badly it’s like hunger that gnaws at me endlessly. It doesn’t go away.”
