Blurb:
Katy knows the world changed the night the Luxen came.
She can't believe Daemon welcomed his race or stood by as his kind threatened to obliterate every last human and hybrid on Earth. But the lines between good and bad have blurred, and love has become an emotion that could destroy her—could destroy them all.
Daemon will do anything to save those he loves, even if it means betrayal.
They must team with an unlikely enemy if there is any chance of surviving the invasion. But when it quickly becomes impossible to tell friend from foe, and the world is crumbling around them, they may lose everything— even what they cherish most—to ensure the survival of their friends…and mankind.
War has come to Earth. And no matter the outcome, the future will never be the same for those left standing.

I’m not even sure I can put into words the
love I have for this entire series, never would I have thought I would fall in
love with aliens? And yet I’m super sad to be saying goodbye.. well at least
until Oblivion, Hello Daemon’s POV!
So the end to Origin saw thousands of Luxen
fall to earth and just when everyone thought they were safe Daemon, Dee and
Dawson took their true forms and skipped off with the colony. Well rest assured
Opposition quickly rectifies this little situation and you don’t have to read
half the book to find out exactly what happened to the Blacks. The end
of the world in nigh, the newly landed Luxen want revenge and are planning to
take over.
So Opposition follows Katy and Daemon
making deals, sacrifices and turning to the enemy for help. Filled with action, this newly formed family is pretty badass and can take on anything. A shocking discovery brings us a cross over with Hunter & Serena for a few chapters yay, I
really do love them. Archer & Dee were just too cute for words, I really
did love Archer in this book besides him being the indestructible Origin he developed
a sense of humour but it always Dee who has me laughing but I really do hate to break it to her.. ARCHER IS MINE. Luc as always has
connections to absolutely everyone and saves the day yet again; we do get to
see a softer side to him in this book! Dawson was great but seriously every
scene with Beth I was just waiting for her to implode, oops.
The romance was turned up a notch in this
book because when the apocalypse is upon us all’s we want to do is have sex right?
Although our boyfriend’s aren’t Daemon Black sadly. I felt the final battle was over much too quick, it started
and then it was simply over but I did love the ending. The ending was perfect all the bases were covered and there were no loose ends. We did lose someone along the way and
even though this was predictable it was still just as sad. Overall I have
really enjoyed the journey Katy & Daemon have taken, although this book did up the cheese factor a little.
Nevertheless they have quickly become one of my favourite book couples, they’re
just too cute!
Bye Daemon.

YAY, you finished the series! *throws confetti in the air* I agree with you, I was expecting the final battle to be a bit longer. But it was all over in a matter or pages! But that's okay. Daemon was there, and he was fantastic to read about. I think one of my favourite parts was when they met Lotho, and Daemon was super protective. I honestly died there! Haha, I can see someone has intense feelings for Archer, hmm? How your boyfriend list grows :)
ReplyDeleteDon't say bye to Daemon quite yet! Oblivion still awaits us, for better or worse...I'm actually not sure how I'm going to handle the official goodbye to Daemon...needless to say there will be a lot of tears from me...
hahahaha that it exactly what I found myself doing! "Hmm didn't like that, but ahh well Daemon was there" everything can be forgiven with a whole lotta Daemon ;) OH MY GOD YES, he got all Alpha male and I absolutely loved it, I was just waiting for him to pounce and he never disappoints! Oh Erika they're all kinds of intense it's awful hahaha, yes if its officially the last ever Lux book it's got to be amazing! My list is now at an embarrassing level and today is the day we skip right to the top and read about Roth <3 seriously I can't contain the excitement hahaha
