GLASS SWORD
Synopsis:
The poverty stricken Reds are commoners, living under the rule of the Silvers, elite warriors with god-like powers.
To Mare Barrow, a 17-year-old Red girl from The Stilts, it looks like nothing will ever change.
Mare finds herself working in the Silver Palace, at the centre of those she hates the most. She quickly discovers that, despite her red blood, she possesses a deadly power of her own. One that threatens to destroy Silver control.
But power is a dangerous game. And in this world divided by blood, who will win?

Hmm I'm not sure what I expected as a title but when I heard this, I was somewhat disappointed!
Ahh well, Glass Sword promises a lot more action and I'm hoping lots more Cal ;) if only we had a fabulous cover to go with it :(
Cover is to come in a couple of weeks... That's way too long of a wait! And much like you said, I was also a little disappointed in the synopsis. It's nothing we don't already know, and I was hoping it would maybe clue us in to exactly how this glass sword plays a role in the story. But oh well. It'll still be a good read! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know, I'll keep an eye out for the cover. I love that Red Queen was a big book (size wise) is that weird? hahaa, it looks so good on my shelf!
DeleteI need to read this book soon. I've had a review copy forever. I really hope I like it. I'm liking the way book two is sounding!
ReplyDeleteIKR sounds awesome! Least you have some time to read it before book two :D
