"A line that should never be crossed is about to be breached.

It puts this entire castle in jeopardy—and the life of your friend."

From the throne of glass rules a king with a fist of iron and a soul as black as pitch. Assassin Celaena Sardothien won a brutal contest to become his Champion. Yet Celaena is far from loyal to the crown. She hides her secret vigilantly; she knows that the man she serves is bent on evil.

Keeping up the deadly charade becomes increasingly difficult when Celaena realizes she is not the only one seeking justice. As she tries to untangle the mysteries buried deep within the glass castle, her closest relationships suffer. It seems no one is above questioning her allegiances—not the Crown Prince Dorian; not Chaol, the Captain of the Guard; not even her best friend, Nehemia, a foreign princess with a rebel heart.

Then one terrible night, the secrets they have all been keeping lead to an unspeakable tragedy. As Celaena's world shatters, she will be forced to give up the very thing most precious to her and decide once and for all where her true loyalties lie... and whom she is ultimately willing to fight for.

AUGUST = THRONE OF GLASS!

So it's August 1st and officially one month until this beauty..

This is my absolute favourite series ever by my fave-fave-fave author Sarah J. Maas!

So as Queen of Shadows is nearly upon us it's only right to read the series again in preparation. This will be my first ever time reading The Assassins Blade, I bought last year and somehow found the willpower to save it until this new release.

Don't worry I will not be spamming your blog feed with constant posts about this muhaha >.< but I will be posting up my reviews to each book as I wasn't reviewing or blogging when I was introduced to Throne of Glass.

This also isn't a read along, I'm just taking the month to familiarise myself with the books whilst reading others (The Ember in the Ashes and my first Colleen Hoover book yay!) and getting excited for the new release!

But if anyone has already begun reading these do let me know what you think or feel free to unload a feelings dump on whether you love/hate the series or any predictions for QoS!

I'd also like to thank all you fabulous people for your book recommendations, you guys are the best! My book hauls are bigger than ever, so if you're reading something wonderful let me know.
Happy Reading!
Cody
